A field workshop for community involvement

This thursday, a team of specialists from Leiden University and CommonSites will travel to Tell Balata to work together with MOTA Dach from the Palestinian Authorities for a two week fieldwork period. Krijn Boom, Janne Polman and Sjoerd van der Linde will work together with local specialists and volunteers in conducting a survey of the current interpretive presentation facilities at the site, of tourism satisfaction, as well as the social impact of the Balata Archaeological Park on the local community through interviews, workshops and surveys.
